Breaking: School Bus with 20 Students On Board Catches Fire in Tennessee

A terrifying accident occurred Thursday morning in Clarksville, Tennessee after a School Bus which had 20 students on board caught fire.

The bus, which was carrying students from both Montgomery Central Middle and High Schools, was traveling along Southside Road when it burst into flames.

Oddly enough the bus was actually a substitute transportation vehicle because the normal bus for that route, Bus 806, was involved in another crash with a deer on Wednesday.

A representative for the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System said that none of the students were injured in the blaze fortunately and all of them were transferred to another bus where they completed their trip to school today.

“We take pride in the safety training and protocols we have in place and commend [the driver] Ms. Sigears for her conscientiousness in protecting our students,” said Schools Director Millard House II.

Investigators from both the Tennessee State Highway Patrol and the Clarksville-Montgomery County School System are now investigating the cause of the blaze which could have been deadly if not for the quick thinking and actions of the bus driver who is a hero in rescuing these children.

Hope they're OK…. It's usually Church buses that end up crashing all over the place?
