Florida Woman Suffocated her 4-Year-Old the Dumping the Body in a Miami Dumpster

In the deepest realms of Southern Florida, law enforcement agencies are absolutely baffled and disgusted at how a woman could not only kill her own child but then attempt to dispose of the body like unwanted garbage.

According to the Miami-Dade Police Department, that's exactly what happened, and it all begins on Halloween night.

31-year-old Tina Farrington was at her home with her 4-year-old daughter Tania Page and another child on the night of Trick-or-Treating when she became enraged that her four-year-old had the audacity to talk back to her.

That's when Farrington masterminded a plan inside of her demented mind to rid herself of the girl forever, according to investigators.

Farrington then lured the young girl and her brother into the bedroom where she then picked up a pillow and placed it over her four-year-old daughter's face in an effort to smother her.

After holding it over her own child's nose and mouth for a period of several minutes the child quit breathing and became unresponsive.

Farrington then took her daughter’s corpse and hurled it into the trunk of her car.

According to the arrest report, she kept her deceased daughter's body in the trunk for several days, driving around town living her life as if the horrific murder had never occurred.

After the decomposition began, however, Farrington became angry at the odor of her dead child seeping into the driver's seat so she decided to get rid of the body.

That's when Tina Farrington took her lifeless child and tossed Tania Page into a dumpster as if she was rotting meat.

The callous, heartless nature of this woman is beyond my comprehension; and I'm sure any loving parent would agree this is infuriating, to say the least.

On Sunday, however, a resident was taking his garbage out to the dumpster at the Tuscany Place Apartment complex located on 25430 Southwest 137th Avenue in Princeton, Florida when he discovered what appeared to be the corpse of a young child.

The resident, Alan Tapia, says that he just so happened to be lifting the lid on the dumpster to make his trash fit, because it was the day before garbage removal in his area and the dumpster was nearly full.

To his shock he saw what appeared to be feet sticking out of a blanket.

Tapia said his heart was racing, and he was in complete awe of the situation so he ran home to tell his daughter what he'd found.

Milagro, Alan Tapia’s daughter, said that she thought maybe her dad was confused so she went herself to make sure he was correct.

“I didn't believe that so when I went, I checked and the baby was wrapped in the blanket with signs she was beaten to death," Milagros Tapia said. "I don't feel safe anymore here. Because we don't know who is around us.”

Once the pair called emergency 911 investigators from the Miami-Dade Crime Scene Investigation unit immediately noticed that the young girl was covered in bruising across her head, arms, torso, and even on her legs.

The body was already well into the stages of decomposition so they were able to determine it had been deceased for several days.

Fortunately for investigators the apartment complex had security cameras, which showed them the 2013 model Nissan Altima that Farrington was driving entering the complex to dump the body.

Once Detectives went to question Tina Farrington, she admitted to murdering her child and “showed no remorse during her confession”, according to police.

She was then placed under arrest and taken to the Guilford Knight Correctional Center on Monday with the charges of first-degree murder, according to Detective Argemis Colome.

She will be arraigned this week and have a bond set, and then decide whether or not to stand trial for the death of her own child.

Absolutely shocking to say the least, that monsters like Tina Farrington exist to begin with.
