A man claiming to be the uncle of the Texas church shooter has come forward in an interview on NorthWest Digital News YouTube channel in Washington state. In the interview, Dave Ivey calls his nephew a "coward" and appeared highly emotional.

Ivey revealed he was disturbed by a Facebook post 26-year-old Devin Kelley made and messaged him to see if he was okay just hours before the attack took place at Sutherland Baptist Church in Texas. In the troubling Facebook post Kelley said, "he wasn't thinking correctly and his head hurt." Ivey said he kept in fairly regular contact with Kelley through Facebook because of living in separate states.
Kelley's uncle also revealed he is related to him on Facebook as well as the interview. Public records show Kelley's mother's maiden name is Ivey and she is also listed in an obituary for Kelley's maternal grandfather. Dave Ivey of Toledo, Washington was also listed in the obituary for Kelley's grandmother.
The Texas church shooter was shot by a heroic local plumber who lived across the street from the Baptist church where the mass shooting took place.

The plumber said he heard over a PA "Driver come out with your hands up" so the plumber dropped his gun and began walking back to the sound with his hands up and the cop goes "not you!" so he scurried back to his rifle and trained it on the vehicle until more officers arrived. They then used a squad car to get him to cover
I would have loved to hear what the cops said to the plumber when they arrived on the scene.
