Breaking: Ballistic Missile Strikes Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Emerging reports from Yemen state that a surface-to-surface missile hit the Saudi Arabia capital, Riyadh. The ballistic missile is believed to have been fired by the Yemeni Army.

Sources in Yemen have described the missile test as successful. The missile was launched on Sunday evening and its not yet clear as to what missile was used and the exact casualty figures.

This comes after a Yemeni activist warned Riyadh after its military intervention in the Yemeni Conflict back in 2015, the Saudi Arabia military led a coalition of almost 10 Middle Eastern countries and as a result Riyadh was warned of being the next target for a Yemeni missile attack.

Emerging details suggest that the missile was a variant of a Russian Scud missile that’s known as the Borkan surface-to-surface missile. There are also claims that the missile struck a military base that’s located West of Riyadh, in Mazahimiyah.

Reports on social media have revealed that Saudi Arabia has made attempts to cover-up the attack by saying that the sound of the explosion in Riyadh was a meteor or an earthquake.

It’s not a surprise that Yemen has unleashed such an attack, after-all, the Saudi’s have mercilessly bombed and starved the Yemen people. At the moment, there’s news of a ship that was bound for Yemen laden with wheat before Saudi’s impounded it. The perfumed Princes of the KSA should not be surprised by this incident.

The Yemeni fighters are incredible if compared to the billion-times wealthier Saudis. However, countries ought to help the starving and maimed children in Yemen. Russia is the most genuine nation when it comes to humanitarian support as seen in Syria.
