In the short film, veteran officer "Jimmy" takes his new Wookie partner on patrol for the first time. The two pull over an elderly lady for a rolling stop and despite Jimmy telling the Wookie to just give her a warning, he ends up shaking her car out of frustration when she can't speak his language.
The mischief doesn't end there, later on in a training session the Wookie rookie gets hands-on with another officer and he pulls his arm off. Facebook users praised the video saying, "I love the things FWPD is doing with these videos. It can make a difference in the way law enforcement is looked at!! Thank you."
Another user said, "Fort Worth PD keep doing what your doing…. it looks like you guys have a sense of humor and a lil [sic] fun too!!!"
At the end of the video, a special message welcomes new rookies to the team and reminds them to be courteous, respectful and provide professional service.
