Two Black Males in Alabama Arrested After Body of White Mother of Two Found Dumped

According to police they've not only located a corpse of a female in Alabama, but they've apprehended two suspects in connection with the case.

Authorities say they first found the dead body of 27-Year-Old Melissa Ann Cleckler, a mother of two young children, dumped Egg and Butter Road near Oak Drive in Columbiana.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office at first announced the arrest of 42-year-old Anthony Scott German in connection with the case,<a href="http://www.al.com/news/birmingham/index.ssf/2017/12/man_charged_with_corpse_abuse.html"> according to AL.com</a> earlier this month.

At the time he was charged with abusing the corpse of Cleckler, and no further details were provided.

Investigators said the case was indeed a homicide but the remains would be sent to the Alabama Department of Forensic Science for an autopsy.

Sheriff John Samaniego said her body was at the location for several of days before its discovery, and offered a $10,000 reward for any information.

Samaniego was offering a $5,000 reward for information to help bring the case to a close. Crime Stoppers is offering an additional $5,000.

Then it was<a href="http://www.al.com/news/birmingham/index.ssf/2017/12/2nd_man_charged_with_corpse_ab.html#incart_river_index"> announced that a second man</a>, 44-year-old Allen Dion Jones was arrested, also charged with abuse of a corpse, in connection to the case.

The Shelby County Sheriff's Office has yet to charge either man with the homicide, but are keeping both in custody on the abuse of corpse charges as they complete their investigation.
