A homeless Portland man was arrested Sunday after chasing a man and assaulting him in downtown Portland and he says Taylor Swift told him to do it. Of all the excuses officers must hear, the one Brent Thicksten came up with must have been a first.

The 43-year-old Thicksten brutally assaulted a victim with a knife leaving the man with a two-inch cut on his back. The violent assault took place at Northwest 3rd Avenue and Burnside in downtown Portland where officers responded to a call of a man needing help after he was stabbed.
When they arrived, the delusional Thicksten told them he was married to Taylor Swift and said, "my wife told me to kill him." After that, Thicksten stopped answering questions, not because he didn't have a lawyer, but because he had top secret clearance and the police didn't.
Police charged the crazed attacked with second-degree assault and unlawful use of a weapon. He is due to appear in court for an indictment on December 19, 2017.
I wonder if his wife Taylor will be there?
