Crazed Shoplifter Swings Ax At Home Depot Employees

Police in Moses Lake, Washington are seeking the public's help to identify a dangerous criminal who swung an ax at Home Depot employees when he was caught shoplifting Monday night.

The shoplifter tried walking out of the Home Depot store at North Grape Drive with a cart full of merchandise before being confronted by Home Depot employees. The man pushes his loaded cart into one of the employees pinning him against a barrier as he attempting to stop him from leaving.

The suspect then grabbed a large ax from his cart and began swinging it wildly toward an employee. The violent thief was able to escape before authorities arrived but surveillance video captured the whole scene.

Police describe the suspect as a man in his mid-30's, around 5-feet-7-inches tall, and he was wearing a black beanie, tan winter coat, blue jeans and dark colored boots.

Anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect is asked to call Moses Lake Police at (509) 764-3887.

They should have shot him. Concealed carry is mandatory in the US.
