For the second Friday in a row, unrest broke out in the Palestinian territories over President Trump’s decision of last week to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and thus recognize that city as Israel’s capital. For Palestinians, it is considered a second Friday ‘Day of Rage.’

One Palestinian youth wearing a suicide bomb belt tried to stab an Israeli police officer who then got reinforcements after which they shot the terrorist three times.

He could be seen bleeding on the pavement with a bomb vest around his waist.

The Palestinian, identified as 19 -year-old Mahmoud Iman, stabbed the officer in his shoulder during the clashes and was then shot from a distance by security forces as they feared he would set off his bomb belt. The young man was later evacuated by the Red Crescent in serious condition.

The Israeli police quickly released a statement after the video spread on social media: "When the other officers saw the stabbing, they opened fire that led to him being incapacitated. When the troops approached the terrorist, they identified an explosive belt, which led to additional fire to prevent him from triggering it."
