Some suspect that Pyong-so was executed by the death squads and yet others say he was expelled from the party after being caught taking bribes.
Pyong-so was also accused of having an 'impure attitude' towards the party. Pyong-so once represented the apex for political aspiration under the dictator Kim Jong-un. He was also the top of the food chain when it came to military rank reaching the rank of Vice-Marshall, one step removed from Supreme Commander.
He was last seen in October and his deputy, Kim Wong-hong, is rumored to have been sent to a prison camp. "If Hwang was indeed kicked out of the Workers’ Party, it would practically mean the end of his political career, and possibly his life, though it is unknown whether or not he is still alive," the South Korean daily JoongAng Ilbo reported.
Old Kim Jong-un is following in his daddy's footsteps and feigning wisdom-seeking trips to Mount Paektu whenever he's planning on whacking one of his top brass. The South Korean daily also reported, "Kim Jong-un is following in his father’s footsteps in visiting the mountain at times of important decisions regarding the state."
