A journalist who works for Texas A&M football went missing Saturday after covering Texas elite football camp in the Heights area, according to her family.
Courtney Roland, 29, was last seen around 4 p.m. driving her 2010 white Jeep Cherokee. She reports for AggieYell.com and was last seen wearing a Remington hat and camouflage.
Roland's roommate was the last to speak to her and she says she had an alarming text message exchange leading up to her disappearance. The roommate says Roland texted her about a suspicious man who was following her in Walgreen's.
Roland told her roommate she was followed home by the man in a blue truck who looped back around and parked behind her. When Roland got out of the car, the truck sped off but that was the last time Roland's roommate heard from her.
The pair were supposed to meet up but the roommate never heard from Roland again. Sunday, Roland's mother received a bizarre text message from her daughter's cell phone that said, "hello the owner of this phone Courtney. I am buying an iPad."
Roland's vehicle was broken into six weeks ago and she has been on high-alert since but her disappearance has her family very worried. Police are aiding in the search for Roland who was a former sports intern for KPRC 2 in 2010.
If you have information about her disappearance, you are asked to call the Houston Police Department.

She was confused and memory problems. She claims she lost track of what she did Sunday evening and was somewhat messed up in appearence.
Initial reports not sure if she was drugged, taken and released … Or if it was her own meds' that caused the problem.
