It seems a 40-year-old Grand Rapids pastor has a very different definition of a "good person" than most, after being arrested in a child sex sting he told the judge "I'm a good person."
David Diehl was arrested in 2016 during a Craigslist sting operation after he unknowingly texts an undercover officer in regard to meeting a man's 11-year-old daughter for sex.
Prior to his sentencing, Diehl told the judge, "This case is not a reflection of who I am. … I am a good person." On Thursday, the pedophile pastor was sentenced to a mere 60 days in jail, after which he will be on probation that bars him from using the internet.
According to court documents, Diehl had no prior criminal history and admitted to officers he had a "sexual interest" in children ages 12 to 13.
Diehl's attorney initially tried to have the case thrown out but there was enough evidence to take the case to trial. Before going to trial, however, Diehl admitted guilt.
The maximum sentence is four years for the charge, but because he is a "good person" he will only serve a few weeks.

Next time be the kind of good person who DOESN'T rape kids, maybe?
I think he needs to have his penis removed and sent to jail for a long time.
"This case is not a reflection of who I am. … I am a good person."
sounds legit
What a great guy, let him go back to being a pastor so his congregation can forgive him and let him continue being a pedophile.
