A breaking report out of Hollywood Hills California says a man was fatally shot Monday afternoon and the suspected gunman was seen fleeing the scene.
The gunman behind the shooting murder has still not been found, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Officers responded to the 2000 block of North Argyle Avenue around 2:30 p.m. according to Officer Luis Garcia.
The caller who first reported the crime said they heard shots fired around the apartment complex. The victim suffered a gunshot wound to the torso and was found inside an apartment, according to LAPD officials.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene and upon interviewing witnesses, authorities discovered the shooter was a Hispanic male wearing a blue shirt and brown pants.
LAPD Officer Mike Lopez said a motive for the shooting has not been confirmed and they are currently investigating.
