The Dutch police in Groningen went into full force over the weekend as someone had reported seeing a woman drowning in the canal. When they arrived on the spot though, they found a very lifelike sex doll. Not sure if it needed help. Good joke though.
An elderly man walking his dog on Sunday morning reported seeing a naked woman upside down in the Van Starkenborghkanaal in South Holland. As it appeared the victim was naked and there were no clothes in the area, the police took the matter very seriously when they received the call and immediately warned the fire brigade to come and help. They also ordered all transport boats on the canal to come to a full stop.

Of course, it was quite the surprise for them to indeed find a naked lady in the water upon arrival. Lifelike, but still a doll though.
The police forces happily admitted it that it had all been a mistake, according to them it was “a sex doll, but not the inflatable one, the expensive kind.”
