Ivanka Is The Public's Favorite Among White House Advisers

She is said to be the most influential adviser to the President as he trusts her and listens to her. Now, a new poll reveals first daughter and special assistant to the President Ivanka Trump is also the most-liked adviser among the White House staff.

A Morning Consult/ Politico poll published on Wednesday shows that forty-six percent of voters surveyed had a favorable view of Ivanka. She is way ahead of the second most-liked adviser Kellyanne Conway with a 30 percent favorability rating.

White House press secretary Sean Spicer followed Conway closely with a 28 percent favorability rating.

First lady Melania Trump appeared very well-liked, too, and had a good rating among Trump's non-advisers. She had a 48 percent favorability rating.

Ivanka Trump announced recently that she is taking on an official function in the White House as a special assistant to the President. Ivanka has been given her own office in the West Wing. She has also been issued communications devices, and has been given security clearance. Ivanka can have access to government confidential documents. Ivanka has clarified, however, that she will not get salaries for her post. She promised to follow all ethical rules and practices governing state officials.

Since the presidential campaign last year and through out his first few months in office, President Trump is said to listen to Ivanka's inputs on issues and policies. She also assisted her father in hosting world leaders who have visited the White House including Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, Germany' s Chancellor Angela Merkel, and Canada's Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, among others. Ivanka also helped host China's President Xi Jinping at the family's resort in Mar-a-Lago in Florida.

Ivanka's brother, Eric, also revealed that their father listened to Ivanka as well on sending missiles to Syria.

The poll had 1,988 registered voters as respondents. It was conducted from April 6-9 with a margin of error of two percent.
