Ain’t No Role Model: 9-Year-Old Cursing Rapper, Coachella-Performer Lil Tay

With the dominance of digital technology and pervasiveness of social media these days, it has become increasingly easy for anyone to become some sort of a celebrity overnight. Young girls and preteens are just also about one of the most impressionable and the easiest to fall for new personalities. Sadly, some of these fresh “idols” are not exactly the best of role models for children and teens.

Take the case of the online sensation 9-year-old rapper who’s currently being talked about for her performance at Coachella. She is simply known as Lil Tay and has the “distinct” characteristic of having a “foul-mouth” with a self-confessed love for smoking dope and calling people a ‘broke ab**.’

The small girl uses her Snapchat to the hilt to boast about ‘trapping out in six star hotels’ and also brags about supposedly owning five houses.

She also has the propensity to pick up petty fights with fellow female rap stars Woah Vicky and Bhad Barbie from ‘cash me ousside how bow dah’ fame or notoriety.

Lil Tay was filmed witnessing an ugly fight between warring Bhad Barbie and Woah Vicky on April 16. She also took online to attack Bhad Barbie and said pretty mean things. She wrote: “How a girl gone talk bout Gucci flip flops when u can only afford tank tops/ Btw you look like a rat with draw one eyebrows…(sic)”

<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Liltay looks like she boutta cry <a href="https://t.co/oC9z6RDFRH">pic.twitter.com/oC9z6RDFRH</a></p>&mdash; NBA Johnny (@hajohnnyq) <a href="https://twitter.com/hajohnnyq/status/985734580631228422?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">April 16, 2018</a></blockquote> <script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>

The little rapper continued her attack with: “Tf happens to ur eye brows/Ima smack yo mama when I see her… Broke ass b*, you can’t fight for s* and you a b**.

The abuse did not end there as Lil Tay also wrote: “F* Bhad Barbie, she trna act all cool with her bodyguard, but she can’t do s*. She can’t even punch right, cause she a p*.

Lil Tay is an American rapper at a young age of nine and claims to have began rapping at seven. She also self-describes her sound as ‘steady flow into the outro.’ She is a sister of 24-year-old actress and singer Miranda Cosgrove, a former child actor who played in School of Rock.

Lil Tay has not shared her real name to the industry. She would only say that she used to live in Atlanta, Georgia where she used to be “broke as f***” three years ago. What child aged nine would even talk about being broke anyway?

What she enthusiastically shares is how her life “transformed” even though she does not exactly have the most elegant language. She said: “But one day I woke up and I said to myself ain’t going to be broke no more. So I got up and worked hard, started moving bricks and now we be living in the hills.”

What is also glaring is her bragging ways, surprising for someone so young. One of her favorite statements is her being a 9-year-old millionaire and already smoking dope. And she says all that peppered with curses. She also threatens anyone who may get in her way with: “Shut your mouth before I smack you, auntie.”

She also has one video showing her jumping in a flash sports car as she boasts that the vehicle cost her two hundred thousand dollars. She also bragged about doing something illegal- like having no license but still driving a sports car. Of course, her seemingly ubiquitous b**** curse was included in her statements.

Surely, American children and preteens deserve better “idols.”

Question is, where are this girl’s parents?

If you add the IQs of these three little rappers together it wouldn't equal 100. Somebody would have to add it for them. How did or Who allowed this stupidity to get this far and who is paying to encourage this? America is going down the toilet at an alarming rate…

Parents of these should be sued, how could they have allowed such sick girls to pester us? Role models? God bless America!

Why is social services not involved yet? Ive seen White children taken from law abiding ,hardworking parents for much much less than this.
