France – Military Parade Goes Awry, President Macron Furious (Video)

We are going to assume that most of the military and police were already concentrating on the Football World cup final today in which France meets Croatia, because the two points that most French citizens will remember from yesterday’s military parade for their national day (‘le quatorze juillet’ or fourteenth of July is the so-called ‘Bastille day’ when Parisian citizens create the French Republic through the storming and subsequent release from political prisoners from the city’s prison known as the Bastille) are the obvious errors which took place right under the nose of French President Macron, who was reportedly furious afterwards.

During the events, two motorcyclists from the French national gendarmerie collided in front of the presidential stands on the Champs Elysées in Paris and, even worse, during the flyover of fighter jets the pilot the furthest on the left was spraying the wrong color (the French flag is blue, white and then red normally).

Social media in France erupted with some suggesting immediately that the pilot wanted to protest against the ‘blood lost of some of his comrades in Africa recently’, and thus by the end of the afternoon, the French Air Force was forced to release an official statement apologizing for the glaring error.

It read: “The flyover of the ‘Patrouille de France’ is at the heart of the interrogations. This is an obvious mistake we greatly regret and for which we apologize. We can only hope that tomorrow the blue color does show up at the planned happening rendez-vous!” (referring to the World Cup final, the French team is known as ‘Les Bleus’ or the blue colored ones).

The French President could be seen mockingly smiling to the two police officers who collided in front of him, must have been glad this his invitee this year was the PM Of Singapore and not the guest he had last year, US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.

French President Emmanuel Macron and First Lady Brigitte Macron now leave for Moscow where they will watch the World Cup final together with Croatian President Ms Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović.
