Responding to the Iranian President Hassan Rouhani, U.S. President Donald Trump tweeted one of his most aggressive tweets yet and although Twitter is banned in Iran, the Iranian president is sure to get the message.

Critics of Trump's Twitter activity won't be happy about his latest tweet which in no uncertain terms warned Iran not to mess with the United States! "To Iranian President Rouhani: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS!" Trump tweeted on Sunday.
The tweet followed a statement from Iranian President Hassan Rouhani who cautioned Trump about taking a hostile political stance against Iran's capital of Tehran. "America should know … war with Iran is the mother of all wars," Rouhani said. Trump was quick to respond on Twitter declaring "you will suffer the consequences the likes of which few have ever suffered before."

Secretary of State Mike Pompeo said over the weekend that the US was not opposed to sanctioning top-ranking leaders of the Iranian regime which he described as a "nightmare". The strategy is aimed at Iranian compliance with the U.S.'s strict demands which have been unwavering since the U.S. pulled out of the Iran nuclear deal set in place by the previous administration.
