Donald Trump Wins US Election As Hillary Clinton's Dream Dies: Reactions After Trump’s Victory

The Republican nominee Donald Trump has shocked the world with an outstanding win in the U.S. election, the Republican nominee has channeled a Brexit style power taking down the Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton. This comes as a total surprise to the Democratic nominee who has always led in the polls. However, the results have proved otherwise. The Democratic nominee’s dreams of leading the United States of America has been shattered by the U.S. citizen’s decision to elect the Republican nominee Donald Trump.

Following the UK’s decision to leave the European Union, the European markets have recorded their biggest fall ever since. The Republican nominee’s victory has greatly affected the stock markets across Europe as they have opened lower than expected after his victory but surprisingly, the stocks have stabilized after Mr. Trump’s speech.

Many have described Trump’s speech as more presidential than expected; consequently, the have re-united following Trump’s victory. Trump’s surprising win has greatly affected the global trade as London records a 0.8% drop; however, the markets have remained volatile as investors adapt with the impact of Trump’s victory.

The Republican’s victory has caught many by surprise, a good example is one from the religious leaders; Justin Welby the Archbishop of Canterbury has responded to Trump’s victory by saying that he will commit the United States of America to prayers following the intense campaign that saw Trump win the election.

Justin Welby has said that he hopes that Mr. Trump will be given insight, grace, and wisdom as he strives to handle his responsibilities in the White House. The Archbishop also said that he hopes that the United States will reconcile and unite despite the election results and the political differences of the American people.

In a statement made by the Russian agency Interfax; the Russian Parliament has strongly applauded Mr. Trump following his victory in the just concluded election.

The said source reported that Vyacheslav Nikonov the chairman of the parliamentary committee on education made a statement to the MPs confirming that the Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton had congratulated Mr. Trump following his victory in the just concluded election.

The Russian president also said that he hopes that they’ll both handle the crucial international issues.
