Maryland Woman Helped Pedophile Husband Rape Kids

A woman who is married to a now convicted West Manheim Township child rapist has been arrested and convicted on charges that she assisted the disgusting pedophile in his crimes.

The parasitic woman, Holly Greiner, 31, from Westminster, Maryland, was sentenced today Monday to five to 15 years in prison for her crimes, followed by an additional 15 years of probation upon her release, says Senior Deputy Prosecutor Chuck Murphy.

Back in early February of this year her 29 year old husband, Robert Phillip Greiner, was sentenced himself to a total of 67¼ to 134½ years in a state prison for molesting two young children, according to Murphy.

"There's no minimizing how disgusting and horrendous these acts were," Murphy

Detectives from the West Manheim Township Police began investigating the couple after a 10 year old boy first told investigators back in June of 2015 that he and another 5 year old girl had been sexually abused for about six months straight by the Greiners, according to the detectives.

Earlier this year she plead guilty herself to two counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child, each charge being first-degree felonies, according to official court records.

Murphy says that as part of her agreement she negotiated for the lesser sentence to not only drop the other charges against her, including child rape, but also agreeing to testify against her husband at his trial.

Her attorney, Bruce Blocher, said in open court, "She owned up to her own actions right from the beginning.”

While Murphy and the District Attorney’s Office are grateful she helped put her husband away for what will likely be the remainder of his life, they also said her own disgusting actions deserved a lengthy prison sentence.

The children who were raped by this demented couple were not present in court, but they did have family members at the sentencing.

Once the court read aloud Holly Greiner's sentence, Common Pleas Judge Harry M. Ness ordered the woman immediately taken into custody to head to prison to begin serving her time, her attorneys said.

Murphy said that 5he Greiners' two child victims, a young boy and a young girl both testified at Robert Greiner's trial, but it was unnecessary to put them through more hell in this case since the wife plead guilty.

The girl testified against Greiner that she was happy to have testified against him, and had a heartbreaking reason for doing so, according to Murphy, "She said it was because she didn't want to have bad dreams about it anymore."

During the sentencing Monday, a family member said in open court that the girl hasn't had any bad dreams about Greiner since the trial. The Goldwater sends our prayers to the family and all victims of these tragic crimes.
