An image that will shock millions of British people was launched in the press overnight. Famous star of the UK program The Great British Bake-Off, Mr. Paul Hollywood, can be seen in a pub together with a friend of his at a costume party.
The costume of his choice you ask? A Nazi officer’s uniform, complete with a red swastika armband, a peaked cap, an Iron Cross and a badge featuring a white Nazi eagle. Don’t you dare say that Paul does anything without paying attention to the details? Just as his cakes need to be perfect for his shows, his costume needed to be so too.
A local man at the pub told British newspaper the Sun: “Paul and his mate popped in for a drink and their wives joined them later. To them, it was a great big joke to be wearing a Nazi uniform, and they were laughing about it and happily posed for a picture at the bar. But some found it offensive — especially the fact they thought it was really funny.”
The image was taken in the White Stag in the village of Monkton, Kent. The British public will be seeing it over breakfast this morning.
The British public will also immediately be reminded of that other UK celebrity who pulled the same stunt and was left needing to give a groveling apology to them for his behavior: Prince Harry, now famous in the US for being engaged to the star of TV Program Suits, Meghan Markle
Prince Harry has in these past few years certainly cleaned up his act, but when he was younger he did get the royal family into a lot of trouble. At age 17, he could be seen smoking cannabis and partaking in underage drinking. He clashed with paparazzi outside of clubs and the biggest of his scandals was indeed being photographed at a house in Highgrove at a "Colonial and Native" themed costume party where, as we referred already, he was wearing a Nazi German Afrika Korps uniform with a swastika armband.
