Doctor Maintains That Trump Is In Good Health

Ever since he won the presidential election on November 8, Donald Trump has been working hard, prompting some observers to ask " Is Trump President already?", especially when compared to President Obama who seems to be far less busy. Trump has promised to bring the same level of hard work and focus that were instrumental in giving him the presidency to the White House. And as good news to all Americans he will begin officially serving on January 20 next year, he is also as healthy as he is determined to work hard in making America great again.

His longtime doctor, Dr.Harold Bornstein said in an interview with a medical magazine that Trump is good and healthy, and that he has " not seen anything wrong with him". The doctor only acknowledged that the President-elect may be a few pounds overweight but that's about it.

It seems that Bornstein is so confident of Trump's health that he can afford to be "philosophical" about it. " If anything happens to him, then it happens to him. It's like the rest of us, no? That is why we have a Vice President and a Speaker of the House and a whole line of people. They can just keep dying."

Trump's Manhattan-bases gastroenterologist once said that the incoming Commander In Chief would be" the healthiest individual ever elected President, and that there's nothing seriously wrong with Trump's health. This despite the fact that at 71, Trump would be the oldest President to have been elected.

Bornstein inherited his doctor duties to Trump from his father Jacob. He has been Trump's doctor since 1980. He has also seen and treated Trump's children Donald, Jr., Eric and Tiffany.

The doctor said he is unsure whether he will remain the President-elect's physician when he assumes office as military doctors usually assume the role for the president. Although previously in the cases of JFK and Ronald Reagan, they also maintained their private doctors while in the White House.

Health issues became one of the most controversial issues hurled against Hillary Clinton during the campaign as she was reported to be battling serious illnesses. She also almost fainted during the September 11 Commemoration event, after which she was photographed being helped to her car by her security officers.
