Arizona Man Gets Death Threats After Sharing Photo Of Himself Giving His Guns To Police

A man in Phoenix has become the target of death threats after he shared images online of himself turning in his guns to police in the wake of the Las Vegas shooting. Jonathan Pring didn't know that photos he shared on Facebook would become viral when he first turned in his guns. "I didn't wake up yesterday planning to become the local Phoenix poster child for the American gun debate," he said.

In the photos, Pring is handing a large duffel bag of firearms to a Phoenix police officer after he says he called local police and told them he wanted to turn in the guns. Pring is a dual citizen of both the U.S. and Great Britain and he says the mass shooting in Vegas last Sunday made him think about what is important in life, which for him he says is his wife, son and other loved ones. Pring said, "I would hate for that to happen to my family and it suddenly made me think how ridiculous this whole gun debate is in America. So, one immediate thing that I could do was hand over my guns.

I'm one less civilian that has guns." Pring says that at first, he received lots of support for his actions, "The first thousand people that commented on it were supporters: ‘I'm so proud of you.' 'What a great thing you've done'." But then things got scary and the threats began pouring in. Pring says he and his family have left Phoenix for a few days to let things cool down.

Wife son and loved ones are important to Pring the ding dong, now how would you protect them if some crackhead kicks in the door in the middle of the night? Unless Pring had crazy ideas about doing something stupid with his guns he's an idiot!
