New Haven, Connecticut Thug Charged with Kidnapping, Robbing two 19-Year-Old Women

Authorities from the New Haven, Connecticut Police Department say that they've detained a suspect in the kidnapping of two 19-year-old women.

53-year-old Keith Johnson approached two women at a North Haven gas station on Washington Avenue and held them at gunpoint, demanding them to hand over their cash.

After the young women gave Johnson their money, he then forced them inside their vehicle to drive him to where he wanted to go.

Johnson reportedly sat in the backseat of their car with a gun held to their heads making them travel North on Interstate 91.

The women say they drove several miles before Johnson made them stop the vehicle and get into the backseat, where he then began driving and later forced them out of their own car in a Hartford neighborhood.

Law enforcement later found Johnson inside the vehicle and he's now being charged with first-degree kidnapping, first-degree robbery, robbery of an occupied vehicle, first-degree threatening, and criminal possession of a firearm.

According to court documents Johnson is being detained on a $500,000 cash bail.
