How does an illegal immigrant; who's already a Federal Fugitive for violating Federal Laws crossing into the United States of America, have charges dropped against him for murder when he beheaded his own mother?
That's something that the entire world is asking after 18-year-old Oliver Mauricio Funes-Machado was actually witnessed walking out of his home with a butcher knife in one hand and his mother's head in another.
Neighbors described the scene as <i>”something out of a horror movie”</i>, when the incident occurred this past March.
A Franklin County Judge in Zebulon, North Carolina however has now officially signed off on dropping the charges against the illegal alien; despite him actually calling 911 and telling the dispatcher that he killed his mother <i>”Because I felt like it”</i>, according to court documents.
A Sheriff's affidavit states that the first Deputy to arrive to the scene “observed a male exit the house carrying a knife in one hand and a severed human head in the other”, actually placing law enforcement officers there to see the atrocity after it occurred.
Franklin County Sheriff Kent Winstead referred to the horror as a “gruesome scene”, and Deputies were confident they'd be able to put Oliver Mauricio Funes-Machado away for life at minimum after catching him red handed, no pun intended.
Deputies found “a decapitated body” on the floor between the kitchen and the living room. Deputies also found a “large kitchen knife with apparent blood,” it was reported.
Authorities had also seized medication, labeled as being for Funes-Machado, that could be used to treat psychosis and schizophrenia.
That's unfortunately no longer the case, since a Judge has dropped the first degree murder charges against Oliver Mauricio Funes-Machado, stating that he's not mentally competent to stand trial.
His public defender had argued that Funes-Machado was a “pretty disturbed young man”, which to anyone with two eyes is pretty damn obvious considering he beheaded his own mother.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has also sought Funes-Machado for being in the country illegally.
Funes-Machada is originally from Honduras, ICE officials said, who in fact was what Barack Obama would refer to as a <i>dreamer</i>, whilst the rest of us refer to him as a danger to society.
The judge’s order says Funes-Machado will be involuntarily committed to a facility in Butner. He is currently being housed in Central Prison.
“The family wanted to see him, instead of in prison, he deserves to be in a mental hospital because he can get therapy and get the help he needs,” said his Pastor Danalis Arzola.
Now the world is expected to anticipate this cold blooded killer possibly being on the streets again one day, when he shouldn't have been in America to begin with.
What has our justice system become? Truly astonishing.
