Police say that Clayton walked into the Wells Fargo on Friday and demanded cash, saying that he had a gun but never exposed the firearm; where he then fled from the scene with cash in hand.

According to Spencer Pryor, a North Charleston Police spokesman, authorities received a tip that Clayton was hiding out at the Quality Inn and Suites located 2499 La Quinta Lane which led SWAT teams and local law enforcement to suit up in order to raid his room.

Once the officers went inside the room they found Clayton hiding in the shower of the bathroom and then took him into custody without further incident.

Clayton has a prior armed robbery conviction from 2008 and upon searching his criminal history shows him being in jail a whopping 22 total times for various charges such as misuse of 911, drug possession, driving without a driver's license and failure to stop for blue lights.

Some criminals clearly never change and Clayton is living proof of this.
