Law enforcement in Stillwater, Oklahoma are in complete shock at the levels of damage caused by a man who was under the influence of psilocybin mushrooms.
The driver, 20-year-old Caleb Holt was flying down 6th street within city limits at around 1:30 AM in his Silver GMC Sierra pickup when a Police Officer pulled out of a parking lot to stop him for speeding.
Before the officer could even get close enough to run the tags or hit his lights Holt apparently lost control of the vehicle veering into oncoming traffic before he finally crashed into a house on West 6th Avenue and South Jefferson Street.

The Sierra pickup literally went inside parts of the home and the roof of the front porch completely collapsed onto the truck.
When officers checked the wreckage Holt was pronounced dead at the scene, due to the horrific impact of the crash.
After Detectives investigated the situation and spoke to those close to Holt they were told that he had ingested psychedelic mushrooms and apparently had some form of a bad trip as a result of the psilocybin.
Such cases are highly unusual, with the majority of people using psychedelics having enjoyable experiences but they do sometimes end in this type of tragedy.
It's a great reminder to stay inside at a safe place if you're going to engage in such behavior.
Stillwater Police Department's Accident Reconstruction Unit and the Criminal Investigations Unit are currently investigating the crash.
