White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was glad to inform the President today that Sophia Maria Campa-Peters is recovering well from the surgery performed on her this week.
As we’ve informed you, Miss Sophia Maria Campa-Peters of Brownfield, Texas, was facing severe brain surgery and the President’s office <a href="http://www.thegoldwater.com/news/16810-Trump-Pray-For-Sophia-Maria-Campa-Peters"> had asked everyone in the nation to pray for this brave little girl</a>.
Sophia’s father Scott, who keeps the world informed of the status of his little girl via Twitter, posted today that: ‘After our prayers this morning she asked if people prayed for her yesterday. I tried to explain the reaction the world has had to her prayer request but her little mind still can’t quite grasp the magnitude of her impact. She said: “Tell everyone hi and I love them.”’
The response to Sophia’s original demand to pray for her has indeed been phenomenal, with many in the US organizing events and prayer sessions to ask God to send all his love to brave little Sophia.

The hashtag #Sophiastrong was soon trending and many signed the petitions set up by US representative Mr Jodey Arrington of Texas to support Sophia’s family.
