Vietnam Veteran Died While Nurses Aide Played Video Games

68-year-old Bill Nutter suffered from numerous health ailments, many of which stemmed from exposure to Agent Orange in Vietnam.

Nutter is a veteran who survived the Vietnam war only to die in Bedford VA Medical Center, one of the top-rated hospitals according to the U.S. Department of Veteran Affairs, while a nurse played video games on her computer.

The nurse tried to deny claims that she failed to check on the patients every hour as she was instructed but the video surveillance forced her to change her story when it showed she didn't leave her station.

The family of Nutter wasn't informed that his death could have been prevented until a doctor phoned them several days later saying, "If they had done what I told them to, he could have possibly been alive." The nurse's aide who failed to check on the patient has been fired.
