California Teen Livestreams Fatal Crash Killing Sister On Instagram

An 18 year old girl from Stockton, California, is now in jail after allegedly driving under the influence while livestreaming on Instagram, which resulted a deadly crash killing her 14 year old sister Friday.

On the live instagram post you can see Obdulia Sanchez next to a dead crash victim, her sister.

Law enforcement say the 14 year old sister was killed in the crash and in the video Obdulia can be heard referencing the victim as her sister. California State Highway Patrol says that the two minors were in the back seat and were not wearing seatbelts.

According to the local news stations Obdulia is refusing to talk to police officers investigating the fatality.

Local media also seemingly points out that in the video Obdulia, likely due to intoxication, never called 911 to report the crash or her dead sister.

California Highway Patrol says that Obdulia Sanchez was under the influence when she rolled her car over, which resulted crashing into a barbed wire fence and then a field.

The Merced County Sheriff’s Office says the fourteen year old Jacqueline Sanchez was killed in the crash near Henry Miller Road and Highway 165.
