The BRICS (Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa) alliance is making a lot of headlines lately. As US foreign policy increasingly alienates us from several countries outside of the sway of NATO fuel prices, inflation and other issues will continue to be exacerbated by blowback from sanctions. With Iran and Argentina requesting membership and several developing nations being hosted at a recent BRICS conference in China this could be an indicator of where our hawkish brinksmanship is leading us.
