According to Pittsburgh Post-Gazette editor Brandon McGinley, their events are now a no-go zone for Post-Gazette reporters. Why? Because of a little labor dispute at the paper. Apparently, the campaign that claims to champion democracy is all about keeping certain journalists out in the cold—because nothing says "supporting workers' rights" like punishing a newspaper in the middle of a strike.
As McGinley puts it, they’ve been blocked from everything from the VP announcement to the DNC, and it doesn’t look like that’s changing anytime soon. You know, just a minor case of political favoritism—nothing to see here! The irony is rich: the campaign fighting against alleged Republican attacks on democracy is doing a stellar job of undermining it themselves.
Of course, this isn't just about the Post-Gazette. Teamsters President Sean O’Brien isn't exactly rushing to endorse Harris either, holding out for a meeting to discuss labor issues. Guess you can’t count on that union support just yet, Kamala.
And let’s not forget their earlier escapades. The Associated Press had to beg just to talk to voters at a Whitmer/Shapiro event, and reporters were practically chased away after Biden’s less-than-stellar debate performance. But hey, who needs transparency when you can control the narrative?
