It appears that after firing the police chief, Uvalde may ask their acting police chief to fall on his own sword. Whatever they do it won't make up for the images of police lingering for an hour in the hall while children screamed and cried. Uvalde City Council and the Uvalde police department have done all they could to keep the damning images and videos that show the total breakdown that occurred from the public. They even claimed that the only reason anyone would share these images was for money. If you had to pay to call out the shameful inaction of the Uvalde PD I would just start working it into my weekly budget.
