Welfare fraud, Medicaid fraud, and general scams from those would blindly rob the American taxpayers through scheming to exploit the United States Government is coming to an end under the brilliant Attorney General Jeff Sessions.
Today the Department of Justice under Sessions announced the largest ever crackdown in American history against the fraudulent atrocities against the taxpaying citizens by would be healthcare and welfare defrauders in American history.
U.S. Prosecutors stated that they have proudly charged more than 400 people with taking part in health care fraud and opioid scams that totaled $1.3 billion in false accounting at the government and the taxpayer's expense.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced the charges publicly today. Officials claim that those who have been charged included more than 120 people involved in prescribing and distributing narcotics, such as doctors and rehabilitation officials as well as psychiatric treatment physicians.
During the announcement Sessions called it the “largest health care fraud takedown operation in American history.” America is safer taking these white collar criminals off the streets because their actions indirectly create addicts who then commit everyday crimes to feed their addictions.
Among the many who were charged were six Michigan doctors accused of a scheme to prescribe unnecessary opioids for profits, some of which have the potential to bring down new charges on the Pharmaceutical Industry which rewards those doctors. Another facility implicated in the scheme was a Florida rehab facility that is alleged to have recruited addicts with gift cards and visits to strip clubs, leading to $58 million in false treatments and tests.
Sessions says that nearly 300 health care providers are being suspended or banned from participating in federal healthcare programs. A cost cutting and live saving move by the government, because these addicts cost the hardworking billions annually.
Attorney General Curtis Hill of Indiana also announced that his office made vital contributions to the widespread healthcare fraud takedown in one of the hardest hit regions in America, which is the tri-state and midwest.
According to an official release by Hill’s office, the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU) played a key role in seven federal criminal investigations that uncovered a total of more than $1 million in Medicaid fraud, leading to the indictment of 15 individuals and two companies on various charges.
The DOJ says they investigated licensed healthcare professionals and medical offices where suspected illegal activity occurred for many months months going undercover and even transmitting the conversations of the suspects to ensure they were following the right leads.
Investigators say they not only uncovered illegal practices such as false and fraudulent billing; but found a nationwide problem where doctors were distributing and prescribing controlled substances without legitimate medical purpose; and also involved then money laundering schemes including hiring major law firms to help them embezzle and hide the illegal proceeds.
One investigation revealed that a transportation company was billing for trips overseas that were never taken by the doctors, uncovering more than $440,000 in fraudulent claims in just that one instance.
“Medicaid fraud is not a victimless crime,” Hill said. “When licensed professionals and organizations target those who rely on Medicaid, they’re also putting taxpayers on the hook. These actions truly impact all of us. The culmination of these investigations is extremely rewarding for the investigators and lawyers in our Medicaid Fraud Control Unit who work tirelessly to bring these offenders to justice. I applaud their efforts.”
Ten Brooklyn and Queens doctors and health care providers are also charged with fleecing Medicare and Medicaid out of more than $125 million in part of the series of nationwide busts to save lives and take down these crooked individuals.
The defendants nabbed in the four federal cases in Brooklyn are among 412 people charged nationwide in cases linked to $1.3 billion in fraudulent healthcare billings.

Ten Brooklyn and Queens doctors and health care providers are charged with fleecing Medicare and Medicaid out of more than $125 million — part of a series of nationwide busts called the biggest fraud crackdown of its kind, prosecutors said Thursday.
The defendants nabbed in the four federal cases in Brooklyn are among 412 people charged nationwide in cases linked to $1.3 billion in fraudulent healthcare billings.
The defendants include 120 people accused of wrongly prescribing opioids and other dangerous drugs, though none of the opioid-linked defendants are tied to the Brooklyn prosecutions.
What's certainly the case here is that Attorney General Jeff Sessions is leading a new dawn in America and will relentlessly pursue criminals until dusk with the long arm of the law in order to save lives and restore America to its safe and loving communities that once existed before liberal policy and lack of prosecution allowed such terrible atrocities to run rampant in our streets.
Attorney General Jeff Sessions deserves the applause of every American citizen for this tireless effort that none of us ever knew was occurring, working behind closed doors to ensure that our children will have a better tomorrow. God Bless Jeff Sessions.
