Of Course a Catholic Bishop Pushes the DREAM Act: He Should Focus on Catholic Sex Abuse and STFU

We now have a prominent Democratic puppet… I mean Catholic Bishop, coming out of Des Moines, Iowa pushing for mass amnesty in America.

The Bishop of Des Moines, Iowa, is urging Congress to pass the DREAM Act, arguing that the United States immigration system is “unjust”, and that they should apparently be legalized in a blanket amnesty scheme.

Around forty percent of the Des Moines Diocese is of Hispanic origins, according to one Bishop, who has recently visited several ICE detainees in Iowa’s Polk County Jail before holding a press conference in which he called for passage of the DREAM Act.

After visiting with immigration detainees Thursday morning at the Polk County Jail, Bishop Richard Pates described the individuals he met as “tense,” “isolated,” and “scared.”

First and foremost, they should be scared, because they're Federal Criminal Illegal Aliens, who violated federal law the moment they came into this country illegally.

Second, I don't believe that any Catholic should view himself as a “moral authority” on anything in this country or around the globe when Catholic Priests, Bishops, Cardinals, and even the Pope's closest advisers at the Vatican are being accused of sexually abusing young children.

The old saying is, “clean up your own house first”, or even “don't throw stones when you live in a glass house”. Pick one. Both apply.

Let's talk about that.

On average 400 to 800 children are raped by Catholic Priests, Bishops, Cardinals, and even close Vatican officials to the Pope in the United States alone each year.

The Vatican has also paid billions of dollars each year to silence the victims of the assaults.

Then there's the case this past August where the Vatican refused to pay out the settlements to 700 child sex abuse victims.

That's right, the Vatican claimed they “consented”.

That same month, Catholic Bishop O’Brien faced his own sexual assault allegations.
