A puzzle remains unsolved by the police in an investigation on the deaths of four people who were found in a basement apartment in Troy, New York, early Tuesday afternoon.
As he was addressing local ABC affiliate WTEN, Troy Police Capt. Dan DeWolf revealed that the deaths appear to be suspicious and are being investigated as homicides.
"Unfortunately it's horrible, terrible, sad, sad especially at this time of year that there are four deceased folks in there and we're going to do everything we can to look into this and get to the bottom of what happened here," DeWolf said.
Reports released by Police, who were addressing ABC News revealed that the bodies were discovered by a property manager.
Troy Police Captain also confirmed that the bodies were all found in the same apartment unit, but would not confirm whether they were part of the same family. Any additional information is yet to be released by the police who are still conducting the investigations. However, DeWolf revealed that the Troy Police Department plans to have more information to release Wednesday.
