It was a clear unfortunate case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. A man was just doing his groceries in Fort Worth, Texas when a robbery turned into a shooting. which result in a loss of life.
Police officers were alerted to a Save-A-Lot grocery store at 5519 James Avenue, just north of Interstate 20 and west of Interstate 35 around 10 p.m.
Two armed men went into the store to rob it. The man who happens to be an acquaintance of a store employee resisted and fought back the robbers. Unfortunately, he was shot and killed.
The robbery and shooting victim has been identified as Raymond Huerta, 26.
The suspects were able to flee the scene of the incident. It is still unknown if they were able to take away with them any cash or store property.
Authorities have yet to release information if the suspects have been captured in surveillance cameras and if their identities have been established. Investigators have also yet to share the descriptions of the suspects.
