Islam, The Religion of Terror and Submission

It’s around that time that we as a nation confront the issue of violence and terrorism. A closer look at the critical issue provokes one to ask whether the rise of terror and violence can be traced to the teachings of Islam? After thinking about that, another question that comes into mind, is the call to war a twisted interpretation of the true Muslim faith?

The Majority of the world’s 1.5 billion Muslims are moderates who view Islamic terrorism as a violation of their Koran. Maybe the radical minority has infected the authentic Islam. Islam might not be a religion of peace. Instead, it appears to be a religion of submission. The former Breitbart executive and President Trump's chief strategist Steve Bannon, once dismissed the notion that Islam is a religion of peace.

Bannon described Islam as a religion of submission. Bannon was speaking on Western Word Radio with Avi Davis.

Bannon ridiculed Bush for saying that Islam is a religion of peace. Bannon said that Islam means submission. A Muslim is one who submits to God.

There are obvious reasons that proof that Islam is not a religion of peace. There have been more than 18,000 deadly terror attacks committed in the name of Islam in just the last ten years. In Islam, Muhammad, the prophet of Islam, had people killed for insulting him or for criticizing his religion. Those killed included women.

Islam tells Muslims to emulate the example of Muhammad. Muhammad claimed in many places that he has been ordered by Allah to fight men until they testify that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad is his messenger. During the last nine years of his life, he ordered no less than 65 military campaigns to do exactly that.

Muhammad inspired his men to war with the wrong motives, using captured loot, sex and a gluttonous paradise as incentives. Mohammad beheaded captives, enslaved children and raped women captured in battle. Unfortunately, Muslims are told to emulate the example of Muhammad.

Shortly after Muhammad died, the people who lived with him and knew his religion best immediately fell into war with each other. Muhammad's favorite daughter, Fatima, survived the early years among the unbelievers at Mecca safe and sound, yet died of stress from the persecution of fellow Muslims only six months after her father died.

She aborted Muhammad's grandchild after having her ribs broken by the man who became the second caliph. Umar, was the same caliph, who ordered the death of the first convert to Islam at Medina, an elderly leader who became a close companion to Muhammad and proved his worth in battle.

Muslims were directed by Muhammad to wage war on other religions and bring them under submission to Islam. Some of the followers of Islam have awakened to this idea and they’ve made bold moves to depart from the Islam religion. Such include Sarah Haider, she is a native of Pakistan who moved to the United States when she was between seven and eight. She is the co-founder and director of outreach for Ex-Muslims of North America. It also gives shelter and counseling to victims.
