Mueller Report – Dems Remain Silent On Russian Bernie Sanders Support

The Robert Mueller report yesterday ‘shook the nation to its core apparently’ when it stated that it would seek to interview no less than 16 Russian actors (Mr Mueller indicted 13 Russian individuals and three Russian entities for helping the Kremlin) which it is accusing of attempting to interfere in the 2016 Presidential election.

The Democrats, who have been screaming for over a year now that President Donald Trump only got elected thanks to Russian meddling, remained very silent about the fact that Bernie Sanders was also included in the report.

According to the Mueller team, Bernie Sanders (as well as Jill Stein) were both favoured by the Russian interference on the Democratic side.

The indictment states that Russian efforts included “operations primarily intended to communicate derogatory information about Hillary Clinton, to denigrate other candidates such as Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, and to support Bernie Sanders and then-candidate Donald Trump.”

Furthermore, Russian “specialists were instructed to post content that focused on ‘politics in the USA’ and to ‘use any opportunity to criticize Hillary”

Senator Sanders refused to address his naming in the indictment, but did release a statement in response to the Mueller indictment: “It has been clear to everyone that Russia was deeply involved in the 2016 elections and intends to be involved in the 2018 elections. It is the American people who should be deciding the political future of our country, not Mr. Putin and the Russian oligarchs.”

“It is absolutely imperative that the Mueller investigation be allowed to go forward without obstruction from the Trump administration or Congress.”
