The Dallas Mavericks released a statement today saying that they have hired outside counsel to the investigate the allegations of inappropriate conduct by former team president Terdema Ussery.
They come after a damning Sports Illustrated report that describes the Mavericks as a very hostile workplace for women.
Mr. Ussery was accused of making sexually suggestive remarks to several women for a long period of time. Already in 1998, the team investigated internally over similar claims.
