For decades you've been told that the Democratic Party wanted to strip you of your right to bear arms, while the liberals would retaliate claiming that they had no intention of doing so. However, it's now 2018 and the liberals in America no longer attempt to hide their desire to strip everyday law-abiding Americans of their Constitutional Rights, after a retired Democratic Supreme Court Judge has now penned a letter demanding that the Second Amendment be repealed.

Retired Supreme Court Judge John Paul Stevens penned a letter which was published in the New York Times, demanding that the American people no longer be able to legally purchase and own firearms, showcasing how the Democrats went from just being rapists and pedophiles in the 1990s under William Jefferson Clinton to now embracing the actions of Mao Zedong or even Joseph Stalin.
Judge Stevens wrote in<a href="https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/27/opinion/john-paul-stevens-repeal-second-amendment.html"> The New York Times</a>:
<blockquote>”Rarely in my lifetime have I seen the type of civic engagement schoolchildren and their supporters demonstrated in Washington and other major cities throughout the country this past Saturday. These demonstrations demand our respect. They reveal the broad public support for legislation to minimize the risk of mass killings of schoolchildren and others in our society.”</blockquote>
<blockquote>”That support is a clear sign to lawmakers to enact legislation prohibiting civilian ownership of semiautomatic weapons, increasing the minimum age to buy a gun from 18 to 21 years old, and establishing more comprehensive background checks on all purchasers of firearms. But the demonstrators should seek more effective and more lasting reform. They should demand a repeal of the Second Amendment.”</blockquote>
<blockquote>”Concern that a national standing army might pose a threat to the security of the separate states led to the adoption of that amendment, which provides that “a well-regulated militia, being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.” Today that concern is a relic of the 18th century.”</blockquote>
Judge Stevens is now and always has been a far-left sycophant, who's a close ally of Barack Hussein Obama, and pushed for Gun Control throughout his career.
However, the sentiment he's suggesting is shared among millions of Democrats across the United States of America, all of whom want to disarm Americans as part of a globalist plot for complete control.
This comes after candidates for political positions all across the country inside the Democratic Party crank up the attacks on the Second Amendment, with one Democratic Sheriff Candidate in North Carolina even suggesting that it's okay to kill an American citizen to “take it from their cold, dead hands.”

The left wing in America has absolutely lost their minds, and the more they attempt to seize our rights to best arms, the more they're “redpilling” the general public on the importance to hold such a right.
“We The People” must defend our Second Amendment, even if that means Civil War in America, for without the Second Amendment, then we no longer have the right to the First Amendment.

As a public school teacher living in Hawaii, I saw the National Education Association/NEA lead the student walkout movement against arming teachers in public schools. This was done accomplished through state affiliated teacher unions after the NEA president opposed it, followed by superintendents, then principals who created the opportunity for these walkouts ( with support from Black Lives Matter and Women's March organizations). In typical progressive/ ultra- left style propaganda, teachers discussed, understandably , the horrors from the recent gun- related violence and deaths in schools. There were no opportunities allowed to discuss other viewpoints or opinions about the 2nd Amendment, the truth behind gun control ( i.e the difficulties with getting automatic weapons and tough government regulations involved with purchasing them and the facts behind criminals getting them via the black market, etc) and so forth. Instead, students were used by politicians to further their agendas through the Walk for Our Lives march.
Trying to repeal the 2nd will not end well I fear. Probably will lead to Civil War 2.0.

The Bill of Rights was designed as a wall against certain enumerated Rights granted by God, one being the Right to self protection.
The govt has no right to touch the Bill of Rights, Period!

1 He inadvertently admitted the 2nd protects GUN RIGHTS. 2. He understands it must be delted by a Constitutional Amendment.
