Law enforcement officials with the Harris County Constable’s Office say that they've made an arrest of an accused pedophile who was both a teacher in the Dayton Independent School District and a former Boy Scout of America volunteer Scout Leader.
According to court documents, the company Microsoft became aware that someone using one of their accounts was engaged in the production and distribution of sexually explicit images of prepubescent minor children, and then made contact with the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children to make a report.
The NCMEC would then contact the Harris County Constable’s Office to inform them that the transmissions came from an IP address which traced back to the home of 31-year-old music teacher Joshua Janecki.
The Harris County Constable’s Office then obtained a search warrant for Janecki’s residence in Humble, Texas, which they served at the address on April 4th.
Investigators say that Janecki’s entire career was enamored with the desire to work around children, including being currently employed at Dr. E.R. Richter Elementary in Humble, as part of the Dayton Independent School District as a Music teacher.

Janecki also volunteered as a Scout Leader with the Boy Scout of America, and was a swim coach for children in the area.
Inside of Janecki’s home, authorities discovered what's being described as several hundred videos and images as well as literature that depicted young children engaged in perverse sexual abuse and sexual assaults by adults, as reported by the local affiliate of<a href="http://abc13.com/dayton-isd-teacher-accused-of-child-porn/3304693/"> ABC Channel 13</a>.
The illicit child pornography found inside the residence were described as “an abundance of images, literature, and videos of children being sexually exploited and sexually assaulted," investigators said.
Police would also seize numerous electronics devices from the residence of Janecki to be sent for forensic analysis in the Harris County crime lab.
Since the discovery of the child pornography, Janecki has been charged with five counts of possession of child pornography, and one count of the promotion of child pornography at his first court appearance.
Janecki is currently being detained in the Harris County Jail on a bond of $2,500 for each of the five counts of possession of child pornography and $10,000 for the promotion of child pornography, with a grand total of $22,500.
"As a result of the child pornography recovered at his home, Joshua Janecka was arrested and booked into the Harris County Jail, charged with five counts of possession of child pornography and one count of promotion of child pornography. His total bond was set at $22,500," stated Constable Mark Herman.
The Dayton Independent School District has also since issued the following statement about Janecki’s arrest:
<blockquote>”Dayton ISD was notified of an arrest in Harris County of a Richter Elementary teacher. We are fully cooperating with their investigation. We have placed the teacher on administrative leave while their investigation continues”</blockquote>
<blockquote>”In an effort to keep parents informed, letters will be distributed to all Richter Elementary students this afternoon.”</blockquote>
<blockquote>”Mr. Janecka is a first year educator, serving as a music teacher for Dayton ISD. Mr. Janecka has been placed on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.</blockquote>
Typically in situations as disturbing as the arrest of Janecki, there's a potential that the pedophile may have sexually abused children.
