Democrats allowed drug smugglers and drug cartels to run rampant across the U.S. border. The trend was at its best for the last eight years. It’s also alleged that they invited a significant number of illegal aliens in a bid to make sure that a Democrat could secure victory in the presidential election.
The open borders lunacy had significant consequences to the society at large, something that will be felt for a considerable amount of time. The open border policy led to the widespread trafficking of illicit drugs across the U.S. border.
The country ended up being flooded with dangerous chemical substances that destroy lives. These chemicals are now killing more Americans every year than the entire Vietnam War.
An analysis report that was published by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control reported that the overdose deaths from illicit drugs have reached war-like levels of annual deaths. Approximately 47,055 drug overdose deaths in 2014 were reported, 61% involved opioids while 52,404 drug overdose deaths in 2015 were also reported with 63% involving opioids.
The drugs that caused most of the overdose deaths are brought into the United States by Mexican drug cartels. The cartels use smuggling routes that were left largely undefended by the Obama administration.
The drugs include natural/semisynthetic opioids, methadone, heroin and synthetic opioids. A report unveiled by CDC indicated that a complex and collaborative public health and law enforcement approach is urgently needed to stem the growing epidemic on drug overdose deaths.
Democrats have methodically opposed any substantial support of police, Border Patrol or any law enforcement body that would reduce the inflow of these addictive, dangerous substances into the United States.
Democrats are willing to go right on the edge to attain political power. History has proved that they allowed a deadly drug war to be waged on the American people by drug cartels that largely originate from South of the border.
Big Pharma has played a huge role in the ongoing epidemic of opioid deaths. This requires intense attention and action as CDC warned in a report that was unveiled recently.
As Americans are dying by the tens of thousands the Big Pharma is reaping alot of profits from addictive opioids. Obama and Democrats sold out America to both the pharmaceutical giants and the Mexican drug cartels.
