Pedophile Maryland Teacher Used Social Media to Produce Child Pornography

A former teacher from Carroll County Public Schools teacher was indicted on federal charges including child pornography production.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office District of Maryland said that Kenneth Brian Fischer that a federal jury returned a superseding indictment against 40-ear-old Fischer of Westminster for production of child pornography, attempted production of child pornography, transportation of child pornography, receipt of child pornography and using a facility of interstate commerce to try to entice a minor to engage in sexual activity.

The former teacher utilized social media applications to meet and communicate with underage males to get them to produce sexually explicit material and send them to him. Among the applications he used for his pornographic agenda included Kik and Grindr.

Law enforcement carried out an undercover operation last year and Fischer was identified after he was caught communicating with an undercover agent posing as a minor male on Grindr.

Law enforcement executed a search warrant at the former teacher’s Westminster home and seized various electronic devices. A search on his mobile phone revealed that Fischer had been in contact with five real minors starting in November 2014 and continued until his arrest in September last year.

Fischer managed to convince three minor males to engage in sexually explicit activity so he could produce child pornography. He also tried with two other minors with the same intent but he didn’t succeed.

Fischer also sent and received emails containing videos and photographs of one of the minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct. He received an image of another one engaged in a similarly compromising situation.

The victims were between the ages of 15 and 17 and lived in Maryland and elsewhere.

Fischer is facing seven charges in all. He was arrested in Westminster on September 13 and was extradited to Virginia and has since been in custody. He was also suspended without pay by the Caroll County Board of Education. The school board eventually voted to terminate him.
