Australia – ISIS Recruiter Wife Refuses To Stand For Sydney Judge, Only For ‘Allah’

Ms Moutia Elzahed, the spouse of a well-known Australian terrorist recruiter had the questionable honor of becoming the first person in New South Wales to be found guilty of refusing to stand for a judge in court.

The woman was found guilty on nine counts of disrespectful behaviour in court, which she stated was due to her religious beliefs. Ms Elzahed, who is the wife of jailed ISIS extremist Mr Hamdi Alqudsi, claimed that she would only stand for ‘Allah’.

District Court Judge Audrey Balla did not mention the sentencing herself but magistrate Ms Carolyn Huntsman had repeatedly warned Ms Elzahed, demanding: “Remain standing, you remain standing when I speak to you.”

The extremist refused once again and claimed that under Sharia law she was not obliged to do so. Ms Huntsman however said that: “no evidence was presented that the teachings of Islam compel this conduct.”

Upon leaving the courthouse, the 50-year-old Muslim woman gave the one-finger ISIS salute and refused to speak to journalists. When they insisted on questioning her, a friend of Ms Elzahed screamed that all journalists were “cockroaches”.

Her husband, who was convicted to 8 years imprisonment for sending multiple Australians to Syria on behalf of ISIS, gave the same single finger salute of a right hand when he was convicted. According to specialists at the ministry of foreign affairs, the salute represents ‘tawhid’, a key component of Muslim religion, and signifies 'ISIS' violent and uncompromising posture' towards 'the destruction of the West'.

Earlier this week Ms Elzahed had appealed the judge’s ruling stating that she would be unable to give evidence whilst wearing a niqab as court authorities were unable to control her identity in this manner.
