On Sunday morning authorities have arrested the father accused of killing his 1-year-old daughter and his 8-year-old son. They found him inside his vehicle in Pasadena around 1 a.m.
The suspect, 62-year-old Jean Pierre Ndosska, suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound described as non-fatal. He was brought to the hospital in stable condition, and is expected to recover.

The children’s bodies were found inside Ndosska’s apartment in southwest Houston. The kids were then visiting Ndosska at his own request. Ndosska and his wife- and mother of his kids- are separated. Police said the mother even brought the children to Ndosska’s apartment on Saturday morning. But by the afternoon of the same day, things took a shocking turn when Ndosska called his ex-wife to tell her he was going to kill their children.
Alarmed, the mother called the police as she rushed back to the apartment. A heartbreaking sight, however, greeted her when she saw her children dead. Ndosska was not at the scene when she arrived. He was believed to have fled by then. The authorities immediately set out to look for him.

HPD Assistant Chief Wendy Baimbridge would only say so far that the children were stabbed.
Ndosska and the wife are formerly from Congo who emigrated to the country and are now naturalized citizens.
Patrice Nsuary, a cousin of the mother, said that Ndosska has always been verbally abusive to his estranged wife. Still, the horrific, unimaginable crime has been shocking for the family and relatives.
Nsuary said Ndosska wanted to see his kids every day even after his separation from his wife. The relative also shared: “He'd take them to McDonald's. Yesterday, I saw him with his son at the grocery store, and he seemed fine.”
The police have yet to establish a motive for the horrific crime. It is not yet clear if Ndosska has mental health issues.
