Weeks of criticism from former Foreign Secretary Mr Boris Johnson and the resignation of Brexit Minister Mr David Davis have apparently not missed their mark as multiple members of the governing Tory party admitted today that a large group have discussed openly ‘how to get rid of Prime Minister Theresa May’ as all pro-Brexit members of parliament seem unhappy with her ‘Chequers’ plan.

Environment secretary and one of the original Brexiteers Mr Michael Gove commented: “The critical thing is we need to make sure there is unity in the Conservative party behind the prime minister.”

Meanwhile, Uber-Brexiteer and former leader of UKIP Mr Nigel Farage listened in the European Parliament to European President Mr Jean-Claude Juncker’s state of the union and claimed that the mood had shifted.
