The Democratic and Republican congressional baseball teams went ahead with their annual game just 36 hours after a shooter unleashed gunfire at a GOP team practice.

The first pitch was thrown out by U.S. Capitol Police officer David Bailey, who was wounded in the shooting while protecting members of Congress.
