Brexit – Labour Votes To Allow Second Referendum (Video)

Over in the United Kingdom, all political sides are crawling towards the power vacuum apparently left by Prime Minister Theresa May after her agonising defeat during the Salzburg (Austria) Brexit negotiations with the other 27 members of the EU last week.

Ms May failed to secure agreement that her ‘Chequers’ proposal for a Brexit agreement with the EU would be accepted, and thus the political forces are now waiting to see what will happen next.

During the Labour, the biggest opposition party, conference in Liverpool, the left-wing opposition made it quite clear what they though should happen next, when their members voted overwhelmingly to keep the option for a second Brexit referendum open.

One of Labour’s co-leaders, MEP Mr Keir Starmer claimed that if a general election was not possible "then other options must be kept open".

"That includes campaigning for a public vote."

"It is right for Parliament to have the first say but if we need to break the impasse, our options must include campaigning for a public vote and nobody is ruling out Remain as an option."

The Tory party, which rules a government together with the Northern Irish DUP, must present a workable plan to parliament next month and get that passed with a majority vote. If Ms May fails to do so, another general election seems to be the only option left as the deadline for Brexit is running out fast.

According to the legal obligations coming with the letter triggering the EU’s article 50, the departure from the European Union must be arranged within two years. The UK now has only 6 months left.

Mr Starmer claimed: "So, let me be very clear - right here, right now: if Theresa May brings back a deal that does not meet our tests - and that looks increasingly likely - Labour will vote against it. No ifs, no buts. And if the prime minister thinks we'll wave through a vague deal asking us to leap blindfolded into the unknown, she can think again."

If the UK fails to reach agreement with the EU, there will be a so-called No-Deal Brexit, which will see the economy of the British Isles take a serious hit according to all economic forecasters.

Wow they're stupid. What happens when the 2nd vote fails. Have a 3rd? Englishmen have become the most disdainful, ball-less, weakling cowards. I have ZERO respect for Englishmen.

Tuck in your skirts, pull up your panties and have a fucking revolution, you pussy-ass fucking Brits.
