Left-wing Hollywood celebrity Alec Baldwin has been very vocal about his political views and has not been shy about sharing his disdain for president Trump. Baldwin even became known for his impression mocking President Trump on the late-night comedy show "Saturday Night Live".
It seems the actor has finally come unglued and was arrested and charged with assault and harassment on Friday afternoon. The 49-year-old victim who Baldwin assaulted sustained an injury to his left jaw after he was punched by the anti-Trump actor. Ironically, the dispute was not political and was apparently over a parking spot.

Baldwin was taken into custody and transported to the 6th Precinct jail in New York City around 1:30 p.m. Friday. He is also known for his role in the comedy sketch show "30 Rock" where he plays an eccentric role that is loosely based on the backstage shenanigans at the "Saturday Night Live" set.
His long career in Hollywood has netted the unhinged actor a whopping $65 million dollars. Playing a satirical version of President Trump isn't all the actor does, Baldwin also hosts his own Sunday talk show on ABC called "The Alec Baldwin Show". It is unclear if his arrest for assault will affect his current shows.

President Trump was asked about how he felt about Baldwin's arrest and he offered a quick comment while he suppressed a grin. "I wish him luck," he told reporters. The president's son didn't hold back nearly as much and tweeted about Baldwin after news of his arrest saying he is a "piece of garbage". Trump Jr. added, "He's a lib so he gets chance after chance to be decent but always fails!"

Trump Jr. also tweeted in response to another user who said, "I'm sure he'll be out of jail and on SNL mocking Trump this weekend like nothing happened." Trump Jr. replied, "Don’t forget the homophobic slurs. Other than all of those things and all of those chances he’s been given he seems wonderful."
When an NBC spokesperson was asked about whether Baldwin's arrest would affect his appearance on "SNL" this weekend and the network declined to comment. Representatives for Baldwin have also declined to comment on his arrest. Another Twitter user who is a reporter wrote, "Alec Baldwin also told me 'I hope you choke to death' when I was on assignment, staking out his house."
